but, in addition, the action of the Post Office at Hongkong

in opening up a competitive wireless service with Shanghai

appears to be contrary to the spirit of the recommendations

of the recent Conference.

As this question is of very material importance to the Communications Company, I should be obliged if the necessary action with the Post Office at Hongkong could be taken by telegraph in order to enable the purchase of that station by my Company to be definitely settled at an early date.
